225 g caster sugar

420 ml orange juice

160 ml water

100 ml lemon juice

2 oranges

Combine the sugar, water and orange zest in a saucepan.
  • 225 g caster sugar
  • 160 ml water
  • 2 oranges

Place the saucepan over a gentle heat and stir frequently until the sugar has melted. Bring to the boil for 5 to 8 minutes, until you have a light syrup (110 °C).

Remove from the heat and leave until it is cold.

Stir in the orange and lemon juices and then pour the mixture into the Le Glacier / Gelato Expert.
