50 g unsalted butter

100 g icing sugar

300 g full fat cream cheese, such as Philadelphia®

Chef's tip

Philadelphia® or mascarpone cheese are great choices for this buttercream icing recipe.

Juice and zest the lemon.

Fit the food processing bowl with the mini bowl. Put the ingredients into the mini bowl and run the program for about 1 minute.

  • 50 g unsalted butter
  • 100 g icing sugar
  • 300 g full fat cream cheese, such as Philadelphia®

Place the buttercream into a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle and refrigerate for at least one hour before decorating
