1 sachet of dry baker's yeast (5 g)

0.5 tsp of salt

2 tsp of olive oil

Alternatively, prove the dough in the stainless steel bowl on EXPERT programme 30 minutes / speed 0 / 35°C. Enjoy the pita breads filled with hummus, tabbouleh, taramasalata, etc. Store them in a plastic bag to keep them fresh if you do not consume them immediately.

Add 120ml water and the yeast into the metal bowl and run the programme.
  • 1 sachet of dry baker's yeast (5 g)

Add the rest of the ingredients, in the order that they are listed, and run the programme.
  • 200 g of plain flour
  • 0.5 tsp of salt
  • 2 tsp of olive oil

The programme will stop after one minute. If needed, scrape down the wall of the bowl and press Auto to finish the programme.

Form the dough into a ball and place into a deep dish. Cover with a damp cloth and leave to rest for 1 hour at room temperature and away from draughts.

Preheat your oven to 240°C. On a floured work surface, knock back the dough and divide it into 4 pieces. Form each piece of dough into a ball and leave them to rest for 10 minutes.

Roll out each dough ball to a thickness of just 4-5 mm and place them onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for 3 to 4 minutes.
