450 ml water

250 g sugar

1 organic lemon

200 ml lemon juice

RECIPE STEPS

Add the sugar, water and lemon zest into a saucepan. Boil for 2 minutes to make a syrup.
  • 450 ml water
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 organic lemon

Leave to cool completely. If you are in a hurry, you can use 300 ml of cane sugar syrup instead of making a sugar syrup.

Pour the lemon juice into the sugar syrup and mix.
  • 200 ml lemon juice

Leave to cool for 2 to 3 hours in the fridge.

When the mixture is cold, turn on your ice cream machine / Gelato Expert. Pour the mixture through the opening. Freeze-churn until the mixture reaches the desired consistency, about 20‑30 minutes.

Serve your sorbet immediately or pour it into a container to store in the freezer.
