
Christmas loaf




1 loaf
300 g plain flour
1 tsp salt
120 g of candied fruits
1 tsp ground cinnnamon
1 zest of yellow lemon
180 ml water
14 g of fresh baker's yeast
90 g nut mix
0.5 tbsp kirsch liqueur

Use the Magimix Dough bowl kit if you have it. Otherwise use the dough blade directly in the large bowl.
RECIPE STEPS

Soak the dried fruit in a bowl of water for 1 hour.
- 120 g of candied fruits

Fit your food processor with the mini bowl and the mini metal blade. Roughly chop the fruits and nuts.
Sprinkle the fruit-nut mixture with the kirsch liqueur.
- 90 g nut mix
- 0.5 tbsp kirsch liqueur

Fit your machine with the dough bowl and dough hook. Add the flour and salt, then start your machine and gradually add the water through the chute.
Mix until the dough is smooth and elastic.

- 180 ml water
- 14 g of fresh baker's yeast

Stop your machine, incorporate the fruit-nut mixture along with the cinnamon and lemon zest through the chute. Turn the machine on for 10 seconds to mix.

Remove the dough bowl from the machine and remove the dough hook. Transfer the dough onto a sheet of aluminium foil. Leave the dough to rest for 1 hour in a warm place.

Use a knife to make several crossed notches on the dough. Sprinkle with a little flour and put it in the oven at 200°C for 1 hour.
Take the bread out of the oven and turn it out.
