Very delicious and healthy! Quite easy to make as well, although I don't think mine was raised enough. I'll try again next time. I used 1tsp of baking powder as I didn't have a sachet.
11 grams is the norm in France
nice
How much is a sachet of baking powder? Please can these recipes be ‘Australianised'?
I've made it many times and find it easy and everyone loves dad's banana bread. It's only the second thing I've baked after bread
This is a very easy and tasty banana bread, the softer/blacker bananas give the best result. According to the insert in the cook expert recipe book 1sachet of baking powder is equal to 1tablespoon, also for bread makers 1 sachet of dry yeast or easy blend yeast equals 2 teaspoons. I was relieved to find this as I had been guessing, probably explains my flat bread , an under guesstimate.
this is a terrific recipe, on occasions I've swapped out pecans for dried cranberries and choc chips equally successful combinations. Be aware the100g sugar ingredient has been omitted in the recipe step. Today I went straight to the steps and mixed the batter, it looked a bit smaller than usual and then I tasted it! sorted out the problem,
I found this in the cook expert recipe book , 1sachet of baking powder is equal to 1tablespoon
