SERVES 8 :

250 g strong white flour

150 ml water

1 tsp dried yeast

0.5 tsp sea salt


  • 1- Place all ingredients into the metal bowl and run BREAD/BRIOCHE. The programme will pause halfway through, giving you the option to add herbs/spices at this point if desired. Press AUTO to resume.
  • 2- Let the dough prove and run Expert 30 minutes/speed 0/30⁰C. Heat oven to 220⁰C.
  • 3- Remove the dough from the metal bowl and divide it into 8 equal portions. Roll out each piece into an oval and place on a lined baking tray. Bake for 5 mins or until risen.
  • 4- Serve immediately.

CHEF’S TIP :

TIPS You can add 1 tsp nigella seeds or 1 tsp of freshly chopped coriander when the Bread/Brioche programme pauses. If you are not serving immediately, it is best to store under a clean tea towel or freeze. Serve with Moroccan carrot soup.
