Serves :
200 self-raining flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
300 ml milk
1 tbsp butter (melted) + extra for frying
1Fit the main blade to the main bowl and add the flour, egg and baking powder and press AUTO and process for 30 seconds.
2Remove lid and fit the BlenderMix ring to the main bowl, reattach lid and remove middle feed tube. Press AUTO then slowly pour in the milk and melted butter via the feed tube. Blend for a further 30 seconds then press STOP.

In a large frying pan, heat a small knob of butter over a low-to-medium heat. Scoop 1 ladle of the batter into the pan and cook for about 3 minutes until small bubbles appear on the surface. Flip over and cook for a  further 2-3 minutes until golden.

Serve straight away with toppings of your choice. 

Chef’s tip

Add in spices like cinnamon to give some extra flavour. 
Serve with fruit, syrup, cream or any other topping you fancy.
